In this tutorial, we will walk you through the essential processes for using the IP8Value system and introduce how to get started with IP8Value step-by-step.

In our system, the Invention section covers all aspects of Intellectual Property (IP), including legally protectable and commercially valuable creations like inventions, artistic works, designs, and trademarks.

To enhance the management of information related to inventions, the system includes several interconnected functional sections: To streamline the management of information pertaining to inventions, our system is organized into several interconnected sections, each tailored to specific aspects of the invention lifecycle:

1. Team: List the involved inventors and managers.
2. Patent: Dedicated to the management of an invention's relevant patent id, statuses, and other details.
3. Agreement: Manages all types of agreements related to the invention, including licenses and partnerships.
4. Organization: Provides a hierarchical view for managing the organizational aspects of invention development.
5. Fund: Aids in the management of financial aspects, including funding sources, investment tracking, and funding outcomes analysis.
6. Event: Ensures timely actions and deadlines are met through automated reminders and scheduling tools, such as data collection, patent application.

Step 1: Quickly Migrate Inventions to System

IP8Value support the intellectual property data migration from different sources, including invention disclosure form, academic paper, technology patent, etc

Process

1. Select the Invention page from the left menu to enter the Invention section, open or create an Invention record.
2. Click on the Import File button.
3. Choose the material that you want to migrate.
   1. For Word documents, specify that the Word migration feature could be tailored to fit the customer's template.
   2. For technical papers, note that support is available for multiple technical document formats.
   3. For patent documents in PDF format, indicate that the system supports importing patents from the United States (US) and China (CN).
   4. For patents accessed through Google Patents,mention that the system supports imports from the United States (US), China (CN), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WO).
4. Press the Confirm button to import the Invention into the management system.

Step 2: Input Related Information to Manage Inventions

You can input or edit information related to your Inventions to effectively manage your intellectual property assets.

3. Add the necessary relationships.
   1. Add relevant inventors and managers.
   2. Add relevant patents and agreements.
   3. Add funds, organizations.
   4. Add costs, events, and related files.

Step 3: Automatically Generate IP Tech Offer for Marketing

For the promotion of your valuable intellectual properties, we provide a cutting-edge, enterprise-specific Large Language Model (LLM) designed to autonomously create marketing materials, such as technology offers, customized for commercialization objectives. These LLMs are finely tailored, utilizing your confidential documents and predefined marketing templates, along with our extensive databases in both marketing and technology fields.

Leveraging this advanced model enables us to automatically pinpoint markets, uncover opportunities, highlight technological features, benefits, and potential applications of your prized intellectual property assets with precision and efficiency.

Process

1. Access an existing invention record.
2. Click to enter the Disclosure Form, then select Section from the left menu.
3. Click on the Generate Tech Offer button and sequentially select the essential sections.
4. Allow minutes for the generation of tech offer.
5. Press the Publish button to change the status of the invention after the human validation.
6. Press the Sync button and synchronize desensitized sections into the Universal IPCP for showcasing your IP assets.

Step 4: Publish the invention on Platform

The Enterprise IPMS is dedicated to the efficient management of intellectual property materials, whereas the Universal IPCP serves as our worldwide platform to showcase your invaluable invention assets. Within this platform, we offer cutting-edge AI functionalities to enhance your invention marketing materials, including:

• Craft a promising marketing title.
• Summarize a concise and compelling description.
• Predict the Technical Readiness Level (CRL) and Commercial Readiness Level (CRL)
• Predict Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) labels for categorization.

Process

1. Go to the Universal IPCP, click on the Posts in your setting, and find this synchronized invention poster in the Pending Column.
2. Edit this invention, update essential attributions(e.g., the title, descriptions, categories, and others)
3. Press the publish button and publish your invention in our platform.
