Patent Creation

After the author has filled an IP disclosure form, they have the option to include any pertinent patents with respect to this IP asset.

Create a new patent in an IP

1. Open an existing IP record.
2. Find the Patent in the Advanced column.
3. Press the Create button and input the title for the new patent.
4. Fill other essential information of the patent (such as status, country, and others).

Create a new patent from homepage

1. Click the New Patent button in the Home page, and input the title and the associated IP for the new patent.
2. Fill other essential information of the patent (such as status, country, and others).
